Every chair keeps a secret, and this one's is a skeleton.
Under the curve of the Cajun Sandrift there's a frame of ribs — drawn one by one, modelled in 3D, approved, cut, and fitted like the hull of a small boat. It's the most careful work in the whole chair. And then, on purpose, we bury it. Webbing over the ribs. Foam over the webbing. Fabric over everything. By the time the chair reaches a home, the frame has disappeared for good.
The person who ordered it will never see it. But it's why the curve holds its shape, why the seat doesn't sag, why the chair will still sit like this years from now.
The best work is the work you'll never see. We build it anyway.
