The Company of Design

The Company of Design We believe in an architectural practice, where it’s not the style of an architect that becomes pivot for a design but the context that forges it.

Interaction with a space should be the basis of a design. The idea is to use the tangible elements to create a design which would bring out the intangibles like emotions in the end user of the space. We believe in an architectural practice where its not the style of an architect that becomes a pivot for a design but the context that forges a design.

Narola office |

Workstations are organised in large clusters, broken by green pockets and flexible seating nooks. This approach prevents visual monotony, introduces moments of pause, and encourages casual interaction among teams.

Morrow house | a house of shared moments.

For a nuclear family with a working couple and a three-year-old, luxury isn’t loud—it’s the quiet ability to share everyday moments in a de-compartmentalised space.
Designed as a quiet retreat amidst the urban rush, this home is about simple joys: morning coffee on the balcony, unhurried breakfasts together, and hosting friends without excess.

Museums can be quiet, distant places where visitors only observe.

They can also be spaces to see, reflect, run, interact, and have fun—spaces where people of all ages engage with curiosity and wonder.

Three such museums in japan.
1 - 4 Teamlab Planets, Tokyo
5 - 8 Hyogo Perfectural Museum of Art, Kobe
9 - 13 Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum, Kobe

The Osaka Expo 2025 |
a celebration of different cultures and forward-thinking design—it was an experience!

Especially, ‘The Blue Ocean dome’ pavilion by Shigeru Ban, created in collaboration with ZERI, was one of the spaces we absolutely loved.

The Pavilion consisted of three distinct domes, each constructed from a different sustainable material: laminated bamboo for Dome A, carbon-fiber reinforced plastic tubes for Dome B, and a molecular-like framework of cardboard tubes for Dome C.

The craftsmanship and attention to detail was extraordinary!

Traveling as a tourist is one thing—but traveling as an architect, and one with kids in tow, shifts your lens entirely. You begin to notice details that would otherwise blur into the background.

This year, we chose Japan. It was far beyond what we’d imagined. The cherry blossoms had mostly bid goodbye by the time we arrived (though we joked, “We see them in Surat now too!”), but what we experienced more than made up for it.

We kept our itinerary loose, letting curiosity guide us instead of a checklist. We love wandering aimlessly—that’s how you stumble upon the best street food, the coziest cafés, and unexpected city corners no map will point out.

Here’s a small glimpse of the things that caught our eye.!
