Who can become Members: ONLY KDO above 15 years of age AND with basic computer knowledge and only for those who have responded and filled forms and submitted data.
1st time users:
Step No. 1
Open browser and go to site http://www.kdovp.com/ and click "Registration", fill the form where your email id given will become your login
id after succeful verification. Step No. 2
On submission, member will get an email where member has to click the link to validate their email id. This has to be done within 7 days else member has to Re-Register once again and follow procedure as prescribed in Step No. 1 above. Step No. 3
After email verification done as per Step No. 2 above, member will have to wait for Validation Confirmation call by VP office, where call will be made on given Mobile No. and it has to be answered by SAME MEMBER SEEKING REGISTRATION. During the validation call, member will be required to answer questions raised and ONLY ON SUCCESSFUL VALIDATION Member will get temporary password to login BY EMAIL. Step No. 4
Member now can login with his given email id as Username and given temporary password as Password. Member will be offered to change and record new password of his choice and that’s all - Congratulations....
● So registration entries with wrong email id will be ignored by system.
● If member fails to respond to email sent (Step 2) after submission of details (Step 1), entry will get deleted after 7 days.
● If member’s cell responds with a.- No reply, b.- Busy c.- Out of coverage area etc. then member will be put “ON HOLD” and next attempt to contact will be done in next couple of days.
● Last attempt for Call Verification will be made around 7th Day, and if the same is unsuccessful then the registration would be “CANCELLED” and Member would be required to fill registration details again.
● Member if applies Twice / Thrice or Four time in succession, it delays his chance of getting approval, as without deleting all duplicate entries, we can not process any request. In other word, ONLY ONE ENTRY is allowed per person.
● Member should create login for SELF with his OWN EMAIL ID and the same should not be used to register other members.
● Member can register ONLY ONCE and hence multiple requests with different email IDs would be rejected without referring back. Regular Users:
● Always remember your registered email ID on KDOVP website and login with that email id and latest password.
● Use “I Forgot my Password” in case if you forget your password. New temporary password will be sent by system to your Registered Email ID.
● If you wish to Change your Password OR Change your login Email ID, you can do so from “Account Settings” option under “My Home” tab (In case of change in Email ID - Password will remain same).
● Any mischief found by any user, his/her registration will be marked as “Rejected” and he/she will be barred from logging in the site till written apology is received. There is misunderstanding that everyone in the family should register. Any member registered within family - called “Active Profile for family” can send corrections for entire family. At later date, if your profile remains idle for 6 months will get suspended till you re-activate the same. PRIORITY (VERY IMPORTANT):
Requests for Photo related will be taken at later date only. However mismatch photo correction will be handled on priority. Correction / Omission / Modification requests will be handled on priority. Request has to be submitted by clicking “Contact Us” link provided on site and submissions from this method will be entertained on priority.
