Born and brought up in Mumbai Yashesh holds a Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration from Maharashtra State board of Technical education 2004, soon he hit the ground running. His first professional experience was
in residential projects working for Architects in town on high end apartments around Carter road, Bandstand and Walkeshwar. He continued to explore the design opportunities as a whole by working with clients as well as Architects in the industry. Craving for extensive knowledge and experience helped Yashesh develop a keen eye for honesty and simplicity in design. This enthusiasm pushed him explore boundaries of design which soon lead to take up Product designing as career. He graduated from Raffles Design School Singapore in 2008 with Bachelors in Product Design. While attending design seminars Yashesh came across Mr. Christopher Guy Harrison an Internationally acclaimed furniture and lifestyle designer. After few meetings with him Yashesh landed with a job in next 48 hours as a design assistant. While in Christopher Guy he developed skills which were necessary to work as a designer for a truly international furniture brand. He soon started working with distributors from Russia, Middle East and US to assist their clients in planning multiple rooms in their Villas and Penthouses. By 2009 Yashesh had already started designing Upholstered and non-upholstered furniture for the brand working together with Chris and his Factory in Indonesia. His aspiration to explore new design trends and to know who’s who in design soon got him opportunity designing future products and Mademoiselle Collection which took him to explore exhibition around Milan and Paris every year. He shifted to State of art manufacturing facility spanned around 21 acres in Indonesia in 2011 to work with Design and R&D team for developing new products for Mademoiselle Collection. His experience in factory gave him a technical edge much needed for any designer to understand the process involved from a rough ideation sketch to a reality. His experiences with the R&D department made him understand the manufacturing processes and materials and quality check required for any international brand. His most interesting project came along when Chris appointed him to assist in designing the penthouse from furniture to finishing’s, owned by Chris in Singapore with a panoramic Marina bay Sands view on prime City hall property. By 2012 at the age of 29 Yashesh decided to depart and sail in his own boat and began journey as Design entrepreneur. His vast experience and knowledge in International design scene inspired him to form Yasanche. A celebration of artistry in cabinet making, originality, and the many exquisite and fascinating treasures of the world around us. Yasanche’s products are highly influenced by the decorative arts, street art, fashion, flora and fauna, forms and manufacturing techniques from different parts of the world in the most sophisticated versions of contemporary trends. Yashesh believes in bringing empowering style to a highly edited unique collection of cabinets and accessories, passing on a sense of Art of cabinet making, exclusivity and prestige to the beholder. Yasanche would launch a collection which would evoke a sense of MYSTERY by the POWER TO SEDUCE, ENTICE and CAPTIVATE the audience by providing exclusive emotional experience, a sense of belonging and a state of mind. It would strive to provoke sensational experiences by creating beautiful pieces which are passionately inspired, crafted, and delivered.
