Roma's resilience shines through as she refuses to let challenges overshadow her dreams.

After completing her 12th standard, Roma felt the weight of responsibilities pressing down on her. But instead of backing down, she took a bold step forward and decided to skill up. That's when she stumbled upon the Tata STRIVE Centre of Excellence in Guwahati, Assam. Opting for the Food & Beverage Steward course, Roma found herself in a nurturing environment that fostered growth and helped her make a remarkable transformation, emerging as a more business-savvy individual.

Today, Roma stands proudly as a Guest Service Associate- F&B Service at The Treat Resort Silvassa, Daman and Diu. With her newfound skills, she is now able to provide for her family. Roma expresses heartfelt gratitude to Tata STRIVE for steering her journey and opening doors to invaluable job opportunities.

Roma does us all proud by her achievement, she had completed her Class 12 from Margherita Public School and hails from a family of 5 members .

Her mother Smt. Silbina Orang and father Shri. Selbester Orang are both Permanent Workers at Powai TE.

Select produce from APPL’s marquee estates such as Borjan, Chubwa and Borhat were selected by expert buyers of Ahmad Tea to meet the expectation of their consumers. Our teas were evaluated based on quality supplied, quality & condition of paper sacks, shipment timing and other parameters in their factory at Dubai. Ahmad Tea is a Tea Company based in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, UK distributing teas to over 80 countries on six continents, where it can be found only in select restaurants, hotels, speciality shops etc. Ahmad Tea is also a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership, a Not-for-Profit organization created by a group of teas companies to help address supply chain challenges of the tea industry in a sustainable manner.
