Some beauties are waiting to be restored!!

The home we got needed care, things had fallen apart, termites & pigeons had found their occupancy in the home, from changing the entire electrical wiring to be able to accommodate from 6amp to 16amp , changing all pipelines from rusted GI pipes to CPVC pipes , changing rotten wooden windows to 3 track windows, redoing kitchen to all bathrooms completely, it was fun to see the makeover happening in the process!

Big question- Why CPVC Pipes and not UPVC ?
We chose CPVC pipes over UPVC is coz of their adaptability to withstand temperature variations.

RENOVATIONS!

Kitchen, one of the most important part of a home!

Our latest renovation was a Kitchen where our client wanted it to have a fully functional place and also a 'Kewl' factor to it!

This kitchen is equipped with all modern Gadgets like a Built in M/O unit, provision for dishwasher , separate storage space for Mixer Grinder for easy accessibility for daily use and also separate space for daily needs of storing vegetables in wicker baskets.

Vaishali was looking to get her Kitchen Renovated but she was looking for someone who could give her great quality in a specific time.

Being an artist herself, she was very specific on using neutral colors for Laminate , we decided to go with the Grey theme.

From selecting grey Laminate to grey granite, we chose to pick up "Dramatic Tiles" to make them a focal point.

Having senior citizens at home, we went with Profile Pull handles to give smooth edges and a minimalistic look.

Bigger task was - From Breaking the kitchen to Plumbing, electrical , Stone/ Tile work , Carpentry and Painting , everything had to finish in 6 days, this required loads of planning, all wood work happened in our workshop, carcasses were made by carpenter, doors in factory, while breaking was happening, stone cutting happened in their parking space, and Phew, we did finish it all 6 days (As this is a rental home, owners living in US, we were to work a specific budget only )

Last but not the least, our Client Sandeep and Vaishali were an absolute joy to work, clear on what they wanted.

Another successful project in My Home Vihanaga.

Few highlights about the project-

1. False Ceiling was done mainly for the purpose of giving enough artificial lighting (not given too much design to keep it maintenance free) , hence bringing it down only 4 inches max, mirror used on ceiling to give a bigger feel to the area.

2. Handleless kitchen and wardrobes for a cleaner look. A new green (poppy) tried for the first time in kitchen.

3. Full length (9 ft) wardrobe in guest bedroom to maximize storage space.

4. Barnstyle, all white, and lot of mirrors in master bedroom for giving openness and light in the room used maximum.

5. Kids bedroom with green and brown , as per vastu, green is supposed to one of the best color for kids room, wooden customized handles.

6. Partition done with wooden looking laminate and with 'V grooves', giving it look of veneer, and console done with all mirror.

7. Wardrobes customised from inside, not just for the purpose of hanging clothes but also an area for linens, and keeping bigger luggage easily accessible.

Foyer - Entrance to one's home, the first look when one enters defines the home further!

This Foyer, designed for our client, keeping 'Zen' in mind, the area is small hence use of mirror and enough artificial lighting to give an open feel!

This was designed keeping 'fusion' in mind, fusion of tradition & contemporary.

Another kids bedroom designed by us for twins, parents wanted it to look like a kids room yet not a themed one so we decided to go for a neutral wall paper with multi colors and use sliding wardrobe to give ample space for kids to play around!

Using neutral Colors, bedroom designed by us keeping minimalism in mind.

Theme was to give wooden look with Veneer yet have a modern appeal to it!

Used wooden colors & Fabric look wall paper in hues of red to have a balance of dull n bright!
