పెళ్లి దుస్తుల్లో 'అల్లుకున్న' బంధం!

పెళ్లంటే.. పందిళ్లు.. తాళాలు.. తప్పెట్లు.. తలంబ్రాలు అంటూ ఓ సినీ కవి అందంగా వర్ణించేశాడు. అలాంటి పెళ్లి రోజు.. ప్రతీ ఒక్కరి జీవితంలో ఓ మధుర ఘట్టమే. ఆ రోజు వధువు ధరించే దుస్తుల విషయంలో అంతా ఎంతో శ్రద్ధ తీసుకుంటారు. మధ్యతరగతి వారు కూడా కాస్త ఖరీదైనా సరే హుందాగా ఉండే వస్త్రాలనే కొనుగోలు చేసేందుకు ఇష్టపడతారు.

అయితే ఓ యువతి మాత్రం కొత్తగా ఆలోచించింది. వేరెవరో తయారు చేసిన దుస్తులు కొనుక్కోవడంలో కిక్కేముంటుంది అనుకుంది. అందుకే తాను పెళ్లి రోజు ధరించే దుస్తుల్ని అందరికంటే కాస్త భిన్నంగా.. అందంగా తానే తయారు చేసుకోవాలని తలచింది. ఆమె పేరు రామీర్జ్ బోడ్లీ. అమెరికాలోని ఆర్కన్సాస్‌లో నివాసముంటుంది. వివాహానికి ఎనిమిది నెలల ముందు నుంచే తన పెళ్లి గౌనును తయారు చేసుకోవడంలో తనమునకలయ్యింది.
తన డ్రెస్ ఎలా ఉండాలన్న డిజైన్‌ని ముందుగానే తయారుచేసుకుంది. ఆపై గౌనుకు అవసరమైన వస్త్రాన్ని లేస్ అల్లడం మొదలు పెట్టింది. చిన్నప్పుడు మూడేళ్ల వయసులో తన బంధువు దగ్గర నేర్చుకున్న విద్యను తన పెళ్లి గౌను తయారు చేసుకోవడానికి ఉపయోగించింది. అనుకున్నట్లుగానే వివాహ సమయానికి చక్కని డ్రెస్‌ని తయారు చేయగలిగింది.

ఈ విషయమై ఆమె మాట్లాడుతూ.. 'పెళ్లి రోజు ధరించే దుస్తుల్ని స్వహస్తాలతో అల్లి.. ప్రేమగా నేనే తయారు చేసుకోవడం ఎంతో సంతృప్తిగా మంచి అనుభూతిని మిగిల్చింది. కావాలంటే మీరూ ప్రయత్నించి చూడండి. నా ఆనందం మీకప్పుడు అర్థమవుతుంది' అంటూ నవ్వేసింది.
సాధారణంగా అమెరికాలో ఓ మంచి పెళ్లి గౌను కొనుక్కోవాలంటే దాదాపుగా 1000 డాలర్లకు పైనే ఖర్చు పెట్టాలి. అయితే రామీర్జ్ పెళ్లి దుస్తుల్ని తయారు చేసుకోవడానికి ఖర్చయింది కేవలం 170 డాలర్లేనట. దీంతో తక్కువ ఖర్చులో ఇంత ఎక్కువ సంతృప్తి.. అంటూ రామీర్జ్ ఎగిరి గంతేసింది. తన పెళ్లి రోజు ఆ గౌనును వేసుకుని ఇలా చక్కగా ఫోజులిచ్చేసింది.
