STORY AS HYDERABADI:
There is a instance which made me feel proud as a Hyderabadi.
It was in local road transport bus. One person who was lean and thin, boarded the running bus at Bowenpally thats going towards Balanagar. As usual , Conductor asked that person for giving a ticket " Ekkadiki ? " (Where ? ) . That person looked like he didnt understand a bit . Going by the way he is , he is a Hindi guy . Conductor simply asked "Hindi aa? Kidhar jaana ? "(Hindi ? Where )
It was just a casual tone that would have been a big issue or atleast a head turner in other Southern state capitals. And what happened next was unbelievable.
This lean guy didnt have sufficient change for this small bus ticket but had only a 500 rs note. So, conductor suggested him to get down at Shobana theatre instead of Balanagar Main bus stop as the small money he had only could get ticket till that stop and informed him to take a small walk , there is not much distance between two stops.
That moment, conductor didnt break any rules, my faith in humanity was restored and a common man was not just written off because of his language barrier . Thats what makes Hyderabad Special.
