Somewhere between westernization and development, we lost the Indianess in our designs and style. Of course, what we had back then was only affordable by the wealthy, well-to-do families and royals.

Like I always say, the charm of solid wood furniture, the design technic, cane knit, and the finish of a well-polished antique is unparalleled.

We are coming in a full circle. Design, architecture, and earth-wise. It's beautiful to see people understand the value and importance of what we had and how it can be restored & revived.

But the real question is how much of it is real? How true is something? How white can white be?

I see huge corporations fooling common people with marketing strategies, content manipulations, and hidden texts. In the end, it comes down to how much a person is willing to learn and bring some self-awareness.

Learn, unlearn, and rewire with facts and experiences. It doesn't just apply to personal lives built everything around us that has everything to do with us.

Post Note: Look forward to sharing more of my thoughts. Some days, it freeing to know that I can be everything I want to be here at Brownandteal because everyone shares the same energy about furniture.
