A quieter expression of the Gurugram Townhouse lounge — where scale, texture and materiality work together to create warmth without excess.

The double-height volume introduces a sense of openness to the space, softened through layered neutrals, tailored upholstery and sculptural forms. Custom furniture pieces in stone and wood anchor the seating arrangement, while varied surface finishes — from polished marble to textured fabrics and darker stained veneers — bring depth and balance to the otherwise restrained palette.

The coffee table composition was designed as a central focal point within the lounge, pairing monolithic forms with softer curved detailing to echo the architectural language of the home. Thoughtfully placed lighting and collected art pieces complete the space with a sense of intimacy despite its scale.

Lighting within a space is rarely approached as a purely functional element. In luxury interiors, it becomes part of the architectural language itself — shaping atmosphere, highlighting materiality and influencing the way a space is experienced throughout the day.

Across our projects, lighting is often layered into the design with intention; at times seamlessly integrated into ceilings, joinery and spatial detailing, and at others introduced as sculptural statement pieces that quietly command attention within a room.

Each collaboration allows us to explore how light can soften, define and elevate a space beyond illumination alone.

Layered textures, softened contrasts and a material palette designed to feel both refined and lived in.

For the main lounge and dining space at the Gurugram Townhouse, the intention was to create continuity across the open-plan layout while allowing each space to hold its own character. Neutral upholstery, sculptural wooden forms, marble flooring and warmer tonal accents come together through carefully considered layering and proportion.

The dining table, finished with a selenite surface, anchors the space with a quieter sense of luxury — balanced against deeper wood tones, tailored seating and statement lighting that subtly punctuates the otherwise restrained palette.

We’re thrilled to have collaborated with a designer that values craft and tradition as much as we do. Here are some images from the latest collection by Reynu Taandon where we had the opportunity to design the set.

Featured here is a signature lounge sofa from our studio, where a dynamic curved form meets soft, textured upholstery. Designed to balance comfort with sculptural presence, the piece anchors the frame while introducing a sense of movement and warmth.

As part of the set design for this fashion campaign, the furniture was chosen to complement the garments without competing with them — creating a backdrop that enhances the mood, materials, and colour story while allowing the collection to remain the focal point.
