important information

9Pro can be turned off only by pressing the power off button + volume up button simultaneously for 3 seconds..

this is very important please tell it to all customers with following remarks otherwise there will be a panic situation if customer will not able to switch off with traditional options.

1. why we have given this feature?

Due to a new Google rule for the device security on the OS level, Android devices on version 12 and later will not show the power off/restart menu on long press. This menu will be shown on long press of power button and Volume+ button.
realme 9 Pro is the first device to follow this and moving forward all devices from realme in Android 12 will follow this rule

2. Why not available in 9pro+?
9 pro+ was manufactured in January and this rule applied from devices manufactured from Feb 2022.

3. What about other brands ?
Multiple devices from other brands are already implementing this and Google pixel series also now follows this with Android 12
