Our latest design story from SRM , Kattankulathur. Designed by Odd Architecture Studio for our beloved customer Mr. Dayalan.

This interior is a fusion of both contemporary and minimalistic design and the result is a warm and comfortable atmosphere for the users.

To justify our concept the space had combination of several visual and pragmatic elements- including the Colors , materials , the theme we chose, lighting and function. These aspects above offers to form the space to look beautiful visually and creates relaxed environment while subtly stimulating the appetite of the users.

To make the backdrop more gracious from outside, we had made an array of curvilinear shape on top and straight at the bottom in brown colour, which can be used as a storage or display of the items in the cafe.

The walls are painted with cold coffee to blend with the theme chosen. One side of the wall has an acrylic logo to have a good range of vision for the passerby.

With this minimal space of 500 sqft we were able to accommodate 12 seating capacity comfy sofa for the users with small coffee table finish with veneer on bottom and mica on the top of the table.

| THE DESIGN STORY |

This project came to us to renovate the space into a modern cake shop cm cafe on the Tirchy highway, and the owner wanted us to tailor the interiors with modern industrial design. Therefore we designed the space with with brick wall cladding finish and wooden rafters for the ceiling and for the storage.

We kept the opening wide to attract more people to the shop with vibrant colors for the walls with industrial furnitures and Lights adding unmistakable highlights and entire character of the space as client required.

No matter how stylish and elegant modern designs get, My client Mr. Habeeb always been fascinated by the traditional Indian architecture to flavour this conceptual restaurant, which specially meant for ‘Dosa’. To deliver this concept , we had karaikudi style entrance arch with authentic name board , Italian tiles laying pattern , Transparent glass, Wooden carvings, Art Deco influences, Anglo-Indian cutlery, Victorian furniture, imported chandeliers, intricately designed walls.

The kitchen is open type, it has been highlighted with a strong lighting to enhance the service done at that space.

The wood panel wall on side of the dinning area creating a illusion of stacking of antique trunks, and turns the space into a dreamy retreat. The other side of wall is styled with bold colours and soothing earthy tones and square shape display unit. The display contains all antique elements to enhance the concept. The seating are crafted to enlighten the space as well as the endusers with good comfort.

Outdoor space creates an ambience of karakudi style housing with sloped roof and columns on either sides. The waiting area has been created like ‘Thinai’ which lends it the right dose of traditional concept.

I DESIGN STORY I

Today, classic interiors are chosen by wealthy people, with settled taste preferences, as well as those who prefer the age-old cultural values ​​and traditions instead of fleeting fashion. My client Mr. Azar is one its kind. To achieve this in a modern style, the color scheme of the interior is maintained in light pastel colours.

Classic colors and contrasts avoids bright hues. All shades are calm, neutral, making the overall classical interior atmosphere soothing. The walls are paneled with natural wood on one side of the wall and the ceiling is painted white, decorated with stucco friezes along the edges to maintain the classical style.

All bedrooms has a unique artistic composition, where every detail is in harmony with others and carefully selected to create a classical style.

This contemporary, elegant gym boasts of a perfect blend of dual tones. As you step into the gym, you will notice compact and well crafted reception area with a customised seating along the sides. The entrance guide you with a ray of lights and shows a sign 'Welcome' .

As you explore the gym, you will notice the space had been segregated into cardio and weight session with a clean glass partition in the middle with a cove lighting highlighting the space.And there is a bright splashes of posters along the walls inside the workout area which helps to provoke the client's during the workout.

Styled with welcoming lights , dual tone colours and transition of spaces with wide glasses, make for a cozy space for the endusers.
