HANS RAJ STEEL(INDIA) was started in 2005 by Gaurav Mahajan. The original operation consisted of a single threader in a cramped one-car garage in Amritsar,India. By 2007, continued growth had forced the company into its third building in ten years. Shortly after this move, both the machine division and our wire drawing operation were started. Also by this time, the second generation of Enterkins had assumed management. In 2012, the company purchased 2 acres in Amritsar Region , Indiana (15 miles east of Amritsar,Punjab) and constructed a new facility. Increased production requirements soon led to an expansion of this facility. Today, our headless fasteners can be found in nearly every home in Amritsar,Punjab. Plans are now underway for additional floor space that will allow us to more than double our capacity.
