Virtual museums and theaters
What can oppose the museum to exciting shopping, Hollywood movies and entertainment in a super modern megamolle? The answer to this question is far from rhetorical: the English neologism "syenestement" -hybrid of the words science and entertainment or other neologism "eduyutement" - a hybrid of the words "education" and entertaiment ("entertainment" ).
A modern museum, a planetarium or an oceanarium - let's call it a better scientific and entertainment and educational center - must successfully compete for free time with Hollywood and other entertainments.
A modern museum should be able to "materialize" and so "pack" its activities, that would compete on an equal footing for the attention of visitors, and in this the technologies of virtual reality come to help.
At the same time, museum management is very well established in the west, which makes it possible even to profit from the exploitation of museums, planetariums, oceanariums, etc. What is achieved through the competent management of related businesses (cafe, bar, game rooms, organizing celebrations and selling souvenirs, etc.). Thus, in fact the museum, speaking in the language of developers, turns into an "anchor" facility, such a scientific - educational - entertaining center.
The creation and demonstration of virtual cultural monuments, historical reconstructions, interactive exhibits, the re-creation of objects and objects that have already been lost makes it possible to move to a qualitatively new level of preservation and transfer to the descendants of cultural heritage. In the world now there is a lot of work to create a virtual cultural heritage for virtual reality systems, which, for example, in the long term will provide an opportunity to place all the museums and monuments in one center of virtual reality. Virtual Rome, Virtual Carthage, etc., whose demonstration on virtual reality systems has already transferred us thousands of years ago, has already been created.
