Your birthday brings back memories of sunny days & fun that summer brings,
All 4 of us at Benone Beach with buckets, spades and things.
At No.6 your asleep with a dog on the fireside mat Da**ie, Topsy, Tiny to name a few,
Over the years a dog was never far from you.
Your love of swimming in the River Roe, bikes, go-karts, fishing & jumping off bridges,
How you survived we will never know,
Breaking almost every bone with scars you are now proud to show.
A Roemill Gardens boy roughing it with all the rest,
You sure did put your body to the test.
A life lived to the full 53 years today,
Brother I wish you a very Happy Birthday x
