This hummingbird hawk-moth made an appearance in the garden this morning.
It’s probably the closest thing we’ll get to a real hummingbird here in Ireland. Their wings can beat up to 80 times a second, about the same rate as an actual hummingbird, which is why people like me can get very excited the first time they see one, convinced that an actual hummingbird has made its way to Ireland 😅
