With the sun shining I had to share just some of the amazing planting that has appeared on the streets of Trim recently. πΏ
This time last year 5 middle aged business women π from Trim met with Meath County Council and on our wish list was a request to replace the plastic planters in town with timber ones and to introduce a soft sage green as our town colour for planters, gates and fencing. We never expected the enormous amount of work that has been carried out since by a very small local authority team who are so dedicated to the challenge and working alongside them is our very hard working Tidy Towns Team of volunteers who we are indebted to.
To live in a healthy, safe and beautiful environment where children can grow up with an appreciation of the effort it takes to make it all happen and where locals, visitors and all the businesses in town benefit hugely from living, holidaying and working in such a special place, at a time where we need connection and healthy spaces where we can live happily, is an honour not afforded to everyone.
We are so grateful to all those who have made it happen .
Thank you xx Ursula & my 4 middle aged friends π₯°
