Looking for a New Home for a Loyal Sheepdog

I’m rehoming a 4-year-old Collie dog who has spent his life working with sheep on a farm. Sadly, his owner has moved into a nursing home, and there’s no one left to care for him.

🐾 Details:
• Neutered and vaccinated (just yesterday!)
• Lived on a farm and is a natural working dog. Vet thinks he’d also make a fantastic cattle dog.
• Very affectionate but strong – he needs someone who can give him plenty of exercise.

🏡 Other Info:
• Seems house-trained but may need supervision, as he tends to mark furniture.
• Has been tied up for the past two years, though I’ve walked and fed him daily.

I broke all my foraging rules…! I missed pressing ferns so much that despite the heavy rains I decided to gather these beauties. Seasonal blemish & all they are perfect. I pressed them as normal between two sheets of 300gram blotting paper - but also added a thick layer of non glossy scrap paper either side to help absorb the moisture quickly. This will prevent any mould forming. This damp scrap paper was changed everyday for a week. And then each week for three weeks. The results are beautiful. I can’t wait to share them with you soon. It’s been a while since I’ve consistently posted on here. Lots of exciting changes going on behind the scenes here. First up - we are moving from this Instagram profile to a new one. For some reason - known only to a Bot..! I’m no longer allowed to advertise my Flower Presses on this profile. I’ve spent an entire year begging Metta/Facebook to explain why they have restricted my account. But no joy there. A lady was super nice - but No..! So I’ve created .ie I would be so grateful if you could give me a follow as I need to boost up my profile so that o am approved for a Shop. On a very happy note… My Flower Presses have travelled all over the World this year. I’m so proud to say I have clients in the United States, Australia & Singapore. All thanks to Instagram…! 🌿. My flower pressing buddies today…🐾🐾
I set off this morning with my two presses an A5 for tiny ferns & my A4 for beautiful large ferns & foliage.
I had to work quickly as they were wilting with minutes. Still so new & haven’t hardened off yet.
Really beautiful morning surrounding by constant birdsong. 🍃

Last years pressed Bluebells are still looking so beautiful. They have retained their colour so well. While all pressed flowers & foliage fade over time, they always retain their beautiful shape these changes are all part of a natural process & need to embraced & should not in anyway take from the beauty of value of your pressed work of art….🍃

The sunshine is just beginning to peek through the clouds this afternoon & while I’m busy at the computer now…I’m dreaming of days like this. Dappled sunny days spent foraging & pressing ferns with my two beautiful doggies by my side…
And not following me with a camera…😉
But thank you for capturing the true beauty & sounds of my little Flower Pressing Universe.

What I especially adore about my Flower Presses is how long they will last & continue to get more beautiful with each bump & scratch. I wanted to create something to pass on to the next generation…not just add to our ever overflowing land fills.
