🔈 NEW TO STUD - SASSOFORTINO 🔈

➡️A striking son of Dubawi, SASSOFORTINO joins the stallion ranks here at Longford House Stud in County Tipperary.⬅️

An unraced son of Dubawi, his bloodline says it all. His dam, Carla Bianca won 4 stakes races and was fourth in the Moyglare Stud Stakes at 2. She is a Dansili half sister to Listed Winning Sprinter Joailliere, who is also by Dubawi. Joailliere is the dam of Reve De Vol (by Siyouni) who won the listed Orby Stakes and has been placed at Gr.2 level.

Second dam, Majestic Silver is an unraced daughter of Linamix and has produced seven winners from as many runners. She is a half sister to the Curragh cup and Ballyroan Stakes winner, Profound Beauty, who was also second in the Irish St. Leger.

A beautiful looking horse with a smashing pedigree, we are very excited about him.

⭐️ Newest kid on the block ⭐️

SHAMAN

We are thrilled to announce a new face to our stallion roster. A beautiful looking son of Shamardal, Shaman joins the ranks here at LHS for the 2026 breeding season.

At 2, Shaman was a 2 time winner and was 2nd and 3rd at listed and group level before running a creditable 5th in the Gr.1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere. At the end of his two year old season, he was rated 120. A close 2nd in the Gr.1 Poule d’Essai des Poulains to “Persian King” followed by a second place in the Gr.1 Prix Jacques le Marois against his elders, Shaman placed himself to be among the best milers of his generation.

His 4yr old career proved to be very successful having been an impressive winner of the Gr.2 Prix Harcourt beating Arc Winner Sottsass and Way to Paris, before finishing 3rd in the Gr.1 Prix Ganay. With a timeford rating of 119, Shaman raced and won on all surfaces from good to heavy.

He hails from one of the deepest families in the stud book, as a son of Shamardal and out of dual stakes winning Green Desert mare, “Only Green”. She is the half sister to champion race mare Occupandiste.

He is an all-round champion and a gentleman to have in the yard. He moves impeccably well and is lovely to handle.

He has settled in well alongside his stablemates, Decorated Knight, Scalo, Leading Light, Rajsaman, Recorder, Brian Boru, Seven Pockets, Burwaaz and Fine Grain.
