This beautiful 180 year old chair needed a full restoration, it was badly broken in many places, hopefully it will last another few centuries.

3 IKEA kitchen bar stools in for a quick makeover, all 3 were disassembled, glued then bolted back together with a few additional screws for good measure, the client chose catania raspberry from Funtington fabrics which blends in perfectly with their surroundings 😁

This was an awkward one, a Dutch leather 3X1 in for reupholstery which most would avoid but I like a challenge, the customer didn't want the backs done as their fine but kind of stand out now but all that was explained prior to beginning, he had already bought some vinyl & glued it on over the badly worn arms & a seat in an attempt to repair it, after going through many leather samples they wisely chose vintage Ruby from Crest Leather Ltd which was amazing to work with, there was 100s of individual pieces to be cut out so tonnes of cutting & sewing involved, the foam in these suites are moulded so replicating new arms was a nightmare having to glue different pieces together then shaping them using a carving knife, the wooden inserts in the 4 arms were badly broken & needed to be replaced as was the chair seat frame, the whole project took a week to complete & I'm happy with the outcome as is the customer which is most important 😁

Custom made quilted kitchen bench seat, upholstered in Ultima cream from Fontington fabrics.

This sofa needed a complete overhaul, beautiful new fabric & from fixed cushions to new removable cushions 😁
