📣📣WORLD CUP FUNDRAISER📣📣

We are anxious to replace the carpet on our astro pitch in the coming months. The estimated cost is in the region of €90,000 - €100,000,

We have a Sports Capital Grant of €58,000 so we have a shortfall of approximately €32k - €42k.

We will be holding a few different fundraisers in the coming months to help us reach our target and we are seeking your help..

We are kicking off with our World Cup Predictor Draw. Tickets cost €10 with a €500 prize and can be bought online at https://listowelceltic.clubforce.com/products/shop/event_ticket/world-cup-draw-2026

Kerry school boys U13 premier Division.

Killarney Athletic. 2

Listowel Celtic. 1

Listowel scorer : Seanie Kissane.

Finally after a 5 week wait we got our last league played on Thursday evening last and the rustiness showed in our 1st half performance.Killarney were first to every ball and scored there 1st after 10 minutes a high ball into the square was chested into the bottom left hand corner. There 2nd soon followed from a free kick high into the top corner and at half time it was 2-0 to Killarney Athletic

The 2nd half was a completely different Celtic got a foothold in midfield with Seanie kissane and TJ Finucane to the fore and suddenly it was Killarney on the back foot.Celtic now playing some really good football with Jack Guiney and Tyler Enright causing Killarney defence a lot of problems. Ten minutes into the 2nd half a good shot from Tyler Enright was saved by Killarney’s keeper only to drop to Seanie Kissane who made no mistake from the edge of the box. Celtic pushed hard for an equaliser but unfortunately Killarney held out a draw at least would have just reward for the 2nd half performance.

Unfortunately the Kerry girls lost 2-1.
They go again tomorrow against Sligo-Leitrim, kick off 11-45am
