Jarrow Woodcraft was established by Ron Rossiter, who has over 30 years’ experience in the Carpentry & Joinery industry. Ron completed his nine years of training in the UK, where he gained valuable experience doing full fit-outs for a huge variety of clients. These included home owners, hotels, restaurants, pubs, shops and so on. He returned to Ireland and has been self-employed for over 20 years.
From this experience he developed a passion for handcrafted staircases. Among his many talents, he also creates sash or “box” windows and external / internal doors. While Jarrow Woodcraft are very traditional, they are always looking at ways to improve their craft and benefit the client. One of the ways Ron achieved this, was by investing in the highly renowned CNC Machine. In fact, he was the first person in Ireland to embrace this technology. This is a Computer Numerical Control. It is an automated machine that allows you to quickly and most importantly, accurately, manufacture the components needed to craft your staircase, windows and so on. This means that we can dramatically cut down on the timeframe for a job, by as much as two weeks.
