Sunrise at Éire 11, longest day...
Left at 4am cycled over and had time for a cup of tea before 5am sunrise, swim afterwards🏊‍♀️ fabulously clear calm morning, real treat for everyone who got up to see the spectacular sunrise 🌅

As the World Cup starts , I dug out my pins from USA '94 and remember the wonderful game in Giants Stadium , Ireland V Italy . What a day to see and hear the Irish fans singing their hearts out non stop. We went in our droves to NJ from Queens, Brooklyn the Bronx and beyond to witness Ireland beat Italy who would end up loosing in the final to Brazil.
