Design without compromise. Sustainability as standard.

Good design is about more than how a space looks. It’s also about how long it lasts, how it’s made, and the impact it leaves behind. Thoughtful decisions make it possible to deliver on both design and responsibility.

Sustainable design is often about making better choices.

Key sustainability decisions in this workspace:

🟢 Retaining existing materials
Existing carpet was kept where possible, preventing unnecessary waste and avoiding landfill
Colour and detail were introduced through wall finishes instead of full replacement

🟢 Responsible material selection
Where carpet replacement was needed, Balanced carpet tiles by Mohawk Group were used
90% recycled pile
70% recycled backing

🟢 Designing for longevity
Office chairs were chosen with fully replaceable components
Extends product life and significantly reduces long-term waste

At Future Office, we focus on thoughtful, design-led decisions that balance sustainability, durability, and aesthetics to create workspaces that last.
