🚫 Do not make this mistake…

This sofa was professionally cleaned — but instead of a fresh finish, the fabric ended up patchy, discolored, and damaged.

Not all upholstery fabrics can handle intensive cleaning methods. What works for one material can completely ruin another.

👉 Always test first.
👉 Always understand the fabric.
👉 Always consult a specialist who knows the difference.

In this case, the only real fix was a full reupholstery — and thankfully, it brought the piece back to life.

Handcrafted from start to finish, this bespoke headboard brings soft curves and timeless pattern together in one statement piece.

Designed, built, and upholstered in-house by Richard—every detail carefully considered, from the scalloped silhouette to the fabric placement. The scalloped top adds character, while the fabric keeps it classic and calm—designed to elevate the whole room.

This is a simple headboard, but a great example of how fabric choice makes all the difference. This fabric might look plain at first glance, but it has a lovely raised pattern. Paired with a contrasting plain piping, it naturally creates a border and really defines the shape.
