Another beautiful kitchen completed by the Alder Interiors team.

Super Matt Black handleless cabinetry gives this kitchen its clean, contemporary character, complemented by the dramatic veining of Black Beauty marble and the warmth of oak herringbone flooring.

It is a striking combination of dark finishes, natural texture and made-to-measure design.

Some of the finest details are the ones designed not to be noticed.

For this bespoke solid mahogany study, the Alder Interiors team had two particularly interesting challenges: a curved wall and a hidden entrance door that needed to disappear into the panelling.

The panelling and concealed jib door were laid up and carefully grain-matched in our Rathcoole workshop, then steam-bent to follow the curve of the wall.

Solid mahogany throughout, book-matched and finished by hand.

A beautiful example of what can be achieved when furniture is designed and made specifically for the room.

Clever Storage, Beautifully Hidden!

Sometimes it's the details you don't immediately see that make a kitchen truly special.

Take a closer look at two of our favourite features from this recently completed Alder Interiors kitchen.

The bespoke bi-fold pantry: Practical storage, beautifully integrated into the kitchen design.

The bespoke bi-fold bar: A dedicated space that can be neatly concealed behind elegant cabinetry when not in use.

Both have been carefully designed to complement the stunning hand-painted Farrow & Ball Railings kitchen, brass fittings and Mont Quartz worktop from Stonefacings.

It's this balance of beautiful design and everyday functionality that makes bespoke fitted furniture such a worthwhile investment.

Every household uses its kitchen differently.

For some, storage is the priority. For others, it is creating a better layout for cooking, entertaining or busy family life.

That is why starting with the way you want the room to work can make such a difference.

A bespoke kitchen gives you the freedom to consider the space as a whole, from cabinetry and storage to proportions, finishes and those smaller details you appreciate every day.

Some of the most interesting fitted furniture projects begin with a space that a standard solution cannot easily address.

Alcoves, unusual dimensions, sloping ceilings and architectural constraints all require a more considered approach.

Made-to-measure furniture allows the design to respond directly to those conditions while balancing storage, functionality, proportion and finish.

It is an approach that can be applied across residential and commercial projects, from kitchens, bedrooms and living spaces to offices and specialist interiors.

More storage does not have to mean more furniture.

Bespoke fitted wardrobes allow you to make better use of the space you already have, with storage designed around your room and what you actually need to put away.

From full-height cabinetry to awkward corners and alcoves, a made-to-measure approach can turn otherwise unused areas into practical, beautifully integrated storage.
