We are thrilled to be taking part in UCC Societies first ever online Freshers Event, Give It A Go! We will be delivering an interactive debate workshop where we’ll introduce you to the basics of debating, the type of motions you can expect at our Speaker Development sessions, and how public speaking can be an enjoyable and rewarding activity in college! What’s more, there will be an interactive debate where participants can contribute ideas for/against a variety of motions! There is no need to have prior debating or public speaking experience to join Philosoph, our events and activities are accessible to all. If you are interested, the sign-up link can be found here

Hi everyone! We at the Philosoph hope you all had a lovely summer and are looking forward to a new year at UCC! Congratulations to the Leaving Cert class of 2020 who got their results and CAO offers last week, we are thrilled to have you join the UCC community and the Philosoph!🦉❤️ While this college year will be vastly different to what we are used to, we have persevered and adapted immensely to this year and have some fun things planned for 2020/2021!
