Design was by me with the client tweaking it to suit their needs.

Ever thought about commissioning a piece of furniture?
Ever thought it would be too expensive?
You might be pleasantly surprised.
Commissioning a piece can be a very rewarding experience.
My customers are always involved in the process, from the initial idea to the finished product.
You will end up with a piece you have had a hand in designing and one that will be passed on to future generations.
Compare that to mass produced furniture that gets a little more rickety every time you move it and will end up in landfill after a couple of years.

Commissioned furniture is affordable and sustainable.

You are supporting a marker when you commission a piece.

You are supporting the local community.

You are creating something for future generations.

Support a local maker whatever their craft.

I enjoyed making the cedar so much that I made a second.
Probably a bit more like a this time.
This one has its nose curve laminated and is made up of 3 layers at 90 degrees to each other.
Had them both in the waves at the weekend and they performed great.
Had a few people asking for one too so I might make a few more.
