Bukit Lawang Reclaimed Wood Carving Based in Bukit Lawang, we collect wood from the local rivers, the local village and rice fields. We We also carve names, signs or numbers.

We are a local Inonesian family run carving workshop and shop based in Bukit Lawang. We only use reclaimed wood collected from the local rivers, that have been washed up from heavy rain, or from the local village. We use this wood to make carving of wildlife and animals or even ashtrays & necklaces. Larger pieces of wood can be made into house ornaments or furniture. These can be made to order,

Fancy joining us to try some carving? Join us for half a day or full day to learn the basics in carving. You can design your own carving, a name, number or sign, then learn how to carve it out. Not sure what to carve....then give an idea to Bambang, he can draw or write something and you then can learn you how to carve.
