Deya Product & Design Deya offers modern handmade Indonesian products and design ranging from tableware, handcrafted wooden products, furniture, to architecture

The founders of Deya, Yusman Siswandi, Inke Rafida and the late Roni Siswandi had always one thing in mind: Creating beautiful, inspired by nature designs that could harmoniously fit the modern day lifestyle. Three passionate designers renowned for producing textiles, wooden handcrafts and architectural designs who have expressed a deep interest in applying traditional elements of Indonesia in a c

ontemporary context. Whether it is tableware, wooden products or furniture, all Deya’s goods are manufactured in Indonesia from natural materials by our artisans in Central Java who carefully render each design by hand. Heightening the intrinsic quality of the timber, the grains, the holes and the knots emerges as a distinctive pattern in Deya’s handcrafted wooden products. What could be easily dismissed as imperfections, are seen by us as the truly unique characteristics of the timber. Deya’s tableware following the same guiding principles manifests itself in organic shapes accompanied by the application of batik and exquisite layers of glazing.These delicates processes and intricacy of craftsmanship create bold statements that elevate Deya’s products into the realm of the unique, different and rear.
