Just arrived! A pair of genuine 1920’s, 1930’s Art Deco armchairs.
These armchairs are in their original condition and are for re-upholstery or re-covering.
As you can see in the photographs the upholstery is in a very used condition and would need to be replaced, re-upholstered or re-covered. The springs in the seats are good though and would probably not need replacing if you decided to re-upholster these armchairs.

The wooden framework inside the armchairs and the arms on the outside of the armchairs are solid with no wobbles or loose joints at all. An ideal project here for anyone taking an upholstery course or upholstery classes. They will look amazing when they are finished!
