Designed by .miesvanderrohe for Knoll, the Brno Chair was never created to seduce. Instead, it captivates through the clarity of its design.

A cantilevered chrome-steel frame appears to defy gravity, supporting a suspended seat with no visible connection to its base. Its remarkably slender profile gives the chair an almost weightless presence, while the fully upholstered seat and back offer an unexpected sense of comfort and generosity.

Carefully stretched leather completes the design, giving the piece its distinctive balance of architectural rigor and refined elegance.

Nearly a century after its creation, the Brno Chair continues to inhabit some of the world’s most considered interiors—not simply as a historic design icon, but as an enduring expression of modernity.

A New Perspective on Comfort —

With Ardys, Patricia Urquiola explores a new approach to comfort through a low, generous and distinctly contemporary silhouette. Deep stitching creates a graphic, three-dimensional pattern across the seat and backrest, enhancing the volume of the upholstery while recalling the soft, enveloping aesthetic of Nordic duvets.

Part of the modular collection of the same name, the Ardys armchair carries through the square geometry that defines the entire family, giving it a presence that is both sculptural and inviting.

Fashion designer Harris Reed brings his theatrical, identity-celebrating aesthetic into every detail of his Holland Park flat.

Conceived as a “little q***r castle,” the space is bold, expressive and richly layered. For the living room, Reed collaborated with B&B Italia to select a sofa that would reflect his world—something unapologetic, dramatic and deeply personal.

The result: a striking coral velvet Camaleonda by Mario Bellini, anchoring the room with both comfort and statement-making design.
