Karina Pasian was born in New York City and is of mixed Dominican and Armenian[2][3] descent. Her first language was Russian, and she can sing in six other languages, including English, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Turkish, and French.[2] Growing up in a musical family, she first began taking piano lessons at the age of three from her babysitter, and began classical piano training while in kindergarten. She began working with a vocal coach at the age of eight, and attended the Professional Performing Arts School in New York City along with Taylor Momsen and Mark Indelicato.

Θεία Λειτουργία, στη μνήμη των Αγίων Αρμενίων Μαρτύρων, θυμάτων κατά τον Α΄ παγκόσμιο πόλεμο, στο ναό των Βαρταναίων Αγίων, στο Φερίκιοϊ του Σισλί, στην Πόλη, χοροστατούντος του Αρμενίου Πατριάρχη Κωνσταντινουπόλεως. Δείτε το σχεδόν τρίωρο βίντεο: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXGsQQudGdk

Μετά το πέρας της Θείας Λειτουργίας, αναγνώστηκε μήνυμα του προέδρου Έρντογαν, στα τουρκικά και στα αρμενικά. Τελευταίος, ο Πατριάρχης έβγαλε λόγο, στα τουρκικά και στα αρμενικά. Μετά τους λόγους, τελέστηκε Παράκληση προς τους Αγίους Μάρτυρες. Δείτε αναλυτικά πότε αρχίζει το κάθε στάδιο:

Armenian Genocide 99th year commemoration events are being held around the globe this week. 1.5 million people were systematically and deliberately slaughtered by the Turks in the Ottoman Empire 1915-1923. Many question why the Armenian communities around the globe are so passionate about remembering. You know why - because no one else does. They would rather brush it under the rug, the unpunished, forgotten, first genocide of the 20th century. An event that is so uncomfortable for the ones with ties to Turkey to acknowledge to even utter, denying history. SHAME ON YOU!
Turkey continues to deny and we grow louder. We grow stronger, more organized and more influential as the centennial grows closer. You will not silence us! For these hungry Armenian children taunted with food by this Turk and for our children. We remember and you will too!
