We are so delighted and honored to see Recytrust recognized and awarded by The Hellenic Initiative committee at the 2020 ceremony, since we are just a new established company. This recognition came to us at the right time, to close the year on a good note, amid the harsh economic environment due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Admittedly, Venture Impact Award 2020, is the perfect third-party endorsement, that adds extra credibility on our added-value smart recycling service for businesses and certified waste collectors, based on IoT, e-auction, marketplace, and blockchain technologies. Sincerely, this award means a lot to us and represents a massive vindication of this quite innovative solution that we offer. We genuinely thank the amazing Greek-American community for supporting the Greek green-tech startup ecosystem

What result did we get after the installation of our solution in Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos"? ♻️

Let’s recall our PoC pilot, when we decided to conduct an experiment and install five (5) of our smart scales in Administrative building. Greek practice shows that the separate waste collection is not implemented yet well enough to introduce the initiative everywhere. We decided to check if it’s true.

✅ We were very satisfied with the result. AIA’s employees took the matter seriously, and quite quickly filled up the 5 containers— people were actively bringing waste for recycling.

The point is that our separate waste collection bins provide a very unusual experience. ☝🏻 See, you don’t often approach modern bins with built-in software to identify you and also measure your contribution on recycling. ♻️

If we are provided with the proper infrastructure, if we convince the public correctly, then the waste is really going to be recycled and will be used in the production of other goods. 👍🏻
