The Haxby Project.

This is a new-build bungalow finished to a high standard from top to bottom, home to a traditional in-frame kitchen in Willow, with quartz surfaces and neat oak dovetail drawers throughout.

Tucked behind one section of cabinetry is a walk-in pantry and separate utility room, kept entirely out of view until needed. And built into the units themselves, one final touch worth mentioning: an integrated dog bed 🐾

The Brown Pear process.

A kitchen like the Suckling Project starts long before any cabinetry arrives on site.

The heritage green island, the light grey cabinetry, the moon-shaped splashback against the original brickwork, every one of these decisions was worked through with the client in detail, tested against the space in CGI's, and agreed before anything was built.

A Partridge in a Brown Pear Tree.

Our version has less to do with a carol and more to do with deep green cabinetry and chequerboard flooring.

This is the Partridge Project.

Bespoke in-frame joinery, painted in Willow, hides away coats, boots and everyday clutter, while quartz worktops run straight into the window reveals for a considered finish.

The art of details.

All of our projects are completely bespoke, built around the kind of intricate detail that takes real time to get right.

Every project we take on is built around decisions most people never notice: the way a drawer is dovetailed, the exact run of a cornice, the choice between one shade of paint and another that's almost the same.

That's the difference between a kitchen designed specifically for a home and one simply fitted into it.

The FINAL reveal.

The standout feature of this project is the secret door! Behind one wall of this kitchen is a door you'd never know was there.

Push it open and it leads straight through to a hidden walk-in pantry, and beyond that, a separate utility room, both tucked completely out of sight.

This project was a traditional in-frame kitchen painted in a soft Willow green, with sweeping quartz worktops and Neff appliances throughout.

Solid oak beams from Oak by Design run right through the property and into the room itself, giving the space real depth and texture. And one of our favourite details is an integrated dog bed, built straight into the cabinetry.

The kitchen gets used more than any other room in the house.

That's true in summer, and it's true now.

But autumn changes what it needs to give you. Evenings come in earlier, and suddenly you're spending more time there in the dark than in daylight. It still has to feel like a home, not just a place to cook dinner and leave.

That comes down to the materials, how the room's laid out and the kind of details that make a kitchen feel lived in, whatever time of year it is.

The Forest Project.

This is a full kitchen transformation, built around a new rear extension that changes how light moves through the whole space.

It now opens onto a dining area that pulls natural light straight through the floor. At its centre sits a heritage green island, the focal point of the room, framed by light grey cabinetry running around the perimeter. Behind the sink, a moon-shaped splashback sits against the original brickwork, a small but deliberate detail that gives the space real character.

We've also built in a false mantle, framed with a mitred edge, with storage either side for oils and spices, alongside a new boot room, utility and walk-in pantry.
