Back to the refurbished kitchen work surface. I'm now making part of it into a coffee table. The legs and cross brace / shelf are all from re-purposed ladders! Even the fixings are recycled, nothing new on this but they don't make them like they used to.

Reclaimed hard wood work surface. This was water damaged ( kitchen was flooded) and was scrapped with the rest of the kitchen furniture. I have managed to save it by removing all the damage and restored to its original beautiful finish. But what shall I use it for.....

They don't make them like they used to... some of these tools are from 1945 and older. Not sure of the age of some but they have lasted longer then some of there modern replacements.....
