Some nice polished pics of the me and and the lovely seating area I created for Katherine and Andrews incredible transformation on this weeks episode of George Clarkes Beautiful Builds. If you haven't had chance to watch, you can watch all episodes now on Channel 4 Streaming. It is an incredible episode where you'll struggle not to be inspired by some brilliant design ideas from George and Jay So proud to be a part of the team that worked on this build, non stop comradery, tight deadlines, hard work and pride amongst all involved 😀

I'm so very excited to share with you, that I will be featuring on this weeks episode of George Clarke's Beautiful Builds! This episode features Katherine and Andrew's Manchester build and will air this Thursday 11th June, 8pm on Channel 4.

Make yourself comfortable, grab yourself a brew and enjoy watching the ups and downs of Katherine and Andrew's home get completely transformed! Trust me when I say this is a unbelievable transformation, one not to miss!!

Working with to create this dreamy, bespoke little girl’s bedroom. Maximising the vertical space by creating a raised mezzanine floor built directly over the bed, creating a cozy, encaged snook 😍. The focal point is our gorgeous, scalloped pink velvet headboard, adding plush texture and a touch of elegance to the playful design. Imagine this being your bedroom 😍

and upcycling enthusiasts… hello 👋🏼 Did you know that this little production has made it onto the long list of the National Television Awards, how amazing 🤩 Feel good vibes for every step of this show, saving perfectly good items from landfill; working with artisan bag makers, artists, wood workers, iron workers, niche upcyclers and of course upholsterers like myself. Not forgetting the fabulous ideas that are born from the creative brains of the presenters and and .chalmers 👏🏼 Between us all we work hard to create amazing items that go onto to make a profit which is taken back to the original owners and put to good use, many of whom opt to give to charitable causes! Even the people/ business owners who buy the items get a little feature on the show, it’s full circle for all involved and I love it!

I have loved creating this gorgeous seating area, sitting in a busy family home 😍 The luxury, heavy weighted Orta linen weave, sits beautifully on this stunning seating area which was built by . The sewn seems and buttoning detail gives this seating area such character and charm. Room for plenty of bums on seats around a busy kitchen table 😍

10 years ago to the date! Sidney and Bertie were 2, and Oscar was 5. I was attending Upholstery night school. We got into a routine with it. A couple of times a week, I’d leave work, pick the boys up from afterschool club and nursery, nip home for snacks and drive back into town to start my class. Usually I’d sit in the car with the boys waiting for Mark to finish work and get there. He’d park his car next to mine, get into my car with the boys and leave me to have an evening of learning and complete escape from the pressures of everyday life. On this occasion, Mark was running late and the boys came into class with me. I’m so pleased I captured this gorgeous pictures of the twins on the cutting table. What journey it’s been. For any Mum out there struggling to keep up with the full time job and dreaming of a career that you can work around your young family, please don’t let that dream fade. It’s hard when your kids are little, financial pressures are high and it’s hard to see a way out. The universe constantly shifts and moves around. Hopefully life will begin to ease for you and I do hope that like me you get to turn your passion into a career, and make a bloody good go of it.
