Did you know we make Roman blinds? Well we do! Today we’ve been using a beautiful linen from Linwood called ‘Lottie’. No glue, no machine sew lines, everything is hand stitched.

I didn’t take a picture of the finished article because I always forget, but if you’re in the market for some Roman blinds then get in touch!

Worked on this beautiful big Roman blind today for my upholstery partner in crime Paula Jayne! Sewing is so therapeutic. Especially love the green fringing at the bottom!

In the studio this week sewing some Santa sacks / personalised gift bags! Using left over fabrics, vintage trims and some lovely Christmas lining fabrics, I’m super chuffed how these have turned out 🎅🏻

Just recovered this beautiful little dot of a bedroom chair to match a clients headboard. It was almost destined for landfill but we managed to source the matching fabric to their headboard and voila 💜

Absolutely love saving furniture from landfill, always makes me proud to be an upholsterer 🙂

Forgot to post the finished chair!

This little beauty was delivered to my Mum just before Christmas. It used to have cap sleeves arms but we went for pleats this time instead. I think it looks fancy 🙂

We wanted to get the most use out of the fabric and reduce wastage so although it’s not ‘perfectly’ pattern matched (that piping on the front!), we’ve managed to recover a little ottoman and make some scatter cushions too!

The fabric is Helter Skelta in ‘Etna’.

Delivered this beautiful nursing chair and foot stool back to their wonderful owner this morning.

The chair was looking tired and hidden under throws. My client went big and bold with her fabric choice and picked this rad velvet! It’s been an absolute joy to work on.

These cushions also got stitched up this afternoon. I used up some left over ‘hollyhocks’ velvet from , the blue piping is wool from and the back is another lush velvet from .

Will go perfectly on my bed with the matching headboard.

Had a few hours to myself today and decided to dust off the over locker and sewing machine.

These gorgeous cushions have been made up using some off cuts of left over fabrics including Rodbourn in Paradise Blue and a gorgeous Omega velvet from .

The print on the cushions don’t perfectly mirror each other, but that’s a choice of using up as much of the fabric as possible rather than create a load of wastage! These cushions are 28” by 21” and are super snug.

Felt good to be back in the game, even if it was just for a few hours.
