All set up now at Arley Hall & Gardens, ready for the start tomorrow of The Artisan Show's 'Shopping Spectacular'.
We're in the Front Hall & we'll look forward to welcoming you to this three-day show if you can get there!

Getting ready at the moment for The Artisan Show event at Arley Hall & Gardens, 21st - 23rd of November.
My first time showing at this magnificent location, although I know the fabulous gardens from visits over the years.
I've been busy making some new small pieces including these table lamps, hope you'll like the designs!
I'll be free to start on new commissions either at the end of this year or the beginning of next year & will be happy as ever to offer my services for pieces big or small.
Just let me know if you would like to discuss having something made, or if you would like to view any of the pieces that I have in stock.

A fabulously supportive place for many people, The Cart Shed!

At the weekend The Guardian reported on Prof Miles Richardson's report on the decline in our engagement with the natural world over the last 200 years. In particular it draws links between parental interest in the natural environment being passed down to children.... and their lack of interest being passed down too. And of course, engagement with nature is a crucial way to improve and maintain good mental health. So with that in mind, while summer holidays are still with us, taking every opportunity to get children out and about in nature has to be the way to go. Enjoy the green

Whilst I no longer represent other artists, having closed Timothy Hawkins Gallery in Church Street (Hereford), I am still busy as ever designing & making wooden furniture at my rural workshop.

Present bespoke commissions will be keeping me busy into at least the early part of 2025 but if you'd like something made, won't mind waiting & are happy to take your place in my order book then do please get in touch - I'll be delighted to design & make a piece for you.

I do still have quite a number of pieces available now that were in my gallery - e.g. coffee tables; side tables; small dining table; bookcases; single chairs of different designs. Various other pieces too, so please contact me by email if you would like to know what I still have in stock.

We are sorry to have had to close our gallery down, the costs involved in running a small, independent high street business having become unmanageable for us & we feel great sympathy for our gallery artists, who have had to seek other outlets for their work.
I recognise though that I am fortunate, as I continue to have a steady flow of furniture commissions - I founded my company, Fine Furniture Ltd. in 1980 & retain my rural workshop close to Hereford.
