I never know how to word this without seeming insincere, as it’s so easy to say or write and not feel the significance behind the words - but I do truly feel blessed that my line of work brings so much joy to people. To be able to repair a piece that the client thinks is beyond repair, and to see the look on their face when I show them… it really is an unbeatable feeling 💗

Spring is HERE!

My dad bought my mum this garden bench for her 21st birthday. They’ve been separated for a long time, but my mum kept the bench (probably more for practical than sentimental reasons). Anyway, after a few decades of experiencing typical British weather, it was looking a little (a lot) worse for wear. After 11 hours of sanding and varnishing, it was back to looking its best 💗
