tplaces, but it’s worth knowing I only ever charge for materials and the time it takes. I don’t have overheads like premises and staff, so each item and price is bespoke to fit your home and your wallet. The look tends to be described as rustic, rather than classic cabinetry / fine joinery. If I don't think what I offer will meet your needs I'll always be honest about that, and will recommend some other craftspeople who might fit the bill too. Thanks for buying local.

In time for the new school year, we were delighted to be asked to create something sturdy, fun, and educational for Broadhill Preschool Witney. So this play tunnel, climbing platform and steps were created. It functions in so many ways, and as well as being great fun it also ticks the boxes for teachers to be able to support and observe milestone developments for the children.

The Pre-School and an incredible group of parents made this possible and trusted us to get it done. We’re delighted to have been of service and can’t wait to see pictures of it being enjoyed.

Did you know - I don‘t ’only’ create one-off pieces for clients, and that beautifying and renovating is all part of the service too?

Here is some work I’ve been doing for a client in Cheltenham. The worktops were in desperate need of attention, the floor was replaced with this beautiful engineered herringbone (complete with cosy underfloor heating), and the original sash windows were restored to bring the Edwardian charm back to this home.

Secure a locally handcrafted gift for someone special (include yourself in that too). Perhaps a beautiful doorstop, or a storage solution for your vinyl collection. Maybe a timelessly stylish table for the cheeseboard and Port. Oh, and talking of boards, chopping boards, cheese board...that's another idea.

Its a wonderful thing to be trusted with creating pieces for people, but when it's connected with their livelihood there's an added responsibility. Back to work with a bang! After taking some much needed time with our new family, my first new project was this beautiful solid oak desk.

This client decided that to work from home effectively they needed comfort, functionality, and peaceful beauty around them. I think we achieved that.

They wanted it to appear to be floating to maximise comfort and the impression of open space in a small office, and it needed to sit in a corner alcove for maximum workspace too. I’m delighted that they love it!
