I find old furniture which wouldn't get a second look and give them a new lease of life. Experimenting with paint techniques and printing patterns I take them from drab dull wood to colourful fun chic pieces. I love nothing more than to be covered in paint getting my hands dirty.

Milan.
Over six days, the city becomes a true convergence of ideas, materials and people.
For us, it was a valuable opportunity to present our work within that setting, alongside others who share a deep respect for craft, detail and design.
We are especially grateful to those we had the pleasure of working alongside, for presenting our work so thoughtfully, and to everyone who took the time to visit and engage with the pieces.

Seen in Milan.
The Overgaard & Dyrman Circle Chair, upholstered in our Bauhaus silk jacquard, presented at the Solidified exhibition.
It was a pleasure to see the piece in situ, the geometry softening across the curved form, reading almost as texture as it catches the light.
Incorporated here for the first time, the silk brings a quiet complexity, reinforcing the balance between structure and material that defines the chair.

A study in detail.
Metalwork runs through the piece, from the handles to the overlay, and into the hinges.
Each element considered not in isolation, but as part of a continuous language.
The finish is not applied but carried. It moves across the surface, catching light differently at each point, revealing itself gradually as you approach.
Available in a range of metals, Gold, Copper and Nickel. Each version shifts the character of the piece. From warmer, deeper tones to something lighter and more reflective, allowing it to sit precisely within its setting.

A first look at our Bauhaus silk in context.
Presented on the O&D Circle Chair in custom colour oiled oak, paired with Elegance Burgundy leather and light aged brass.
A balanced composition of material and form, designed to be viewed from every angle.
At this scale, the design reads almost as texture rather than pattern, softening the geometry into something more subtle and tactile.
On exhibit at the Solidified exhibition, VIAFARINI, Via Carlo Farini 35, presented by Just Haasnoot during Milan Design Week. 21st - 26th April

Panthera — Linen.
When translated onto a natural linen base, the Panthera pattern takes on a very different character.
Rather than the richer colour palettes of the velvet versions, the design becomes softer and more restrained, allowing the warmth and texture of the linen itself to come forward.
With the natural cloth acting as the base tone, the pattern sits gently within a space, bringing subtle movement without dominating the surrounding materials.
Here the linen version appears in two very different applications: forming the ceiling within the Manor House master suite, and as upholstery for a bespoke headboard in the Bay View guest room.
The same pattern, interpreted through a different material language.

Panthera — Savoy at Bay View.
After sharing the Tora guest room, we turn to the second space where Panthera was introduced.
Here the Savoy colourway was paired with a softened rust red wall covering, creating a dialogue between cool and warm tones. The warm rust red and the cooler Savoy blue create exactly the kind of balanced tension that makes a room feel intentional rather than safe.
While the combination is bold, the muted quality of the red allows the mid-toned blue of Panthera to shift beautifully with the light — sometimes appearing softer, sometimes deeper within the folds of the fabric.
Moments like this are where textiles can really shape the atmosphere of a room, bringing together colours that might otherwise feel unexpected.
Colour combinations rarely need to match — they simply need to relate.

Panthera — Champagne in the Manor House master suite.
What was once two bathrooms, a bedroom and a study has been reconfigured into a private wing, allowing the spaces for sleeping, dressing and bathing to unfold more naturally from one another.
Within the dressing area, the ceiling was curved and lined with bamboo gables that continue down into the wardrobes. Between these elements, Panthera Champagne was introduced across the ceiling and joinery, creating a cocooning passage that connects the spaces.
Here the fabric is used architecturally rather than as upholstery — forming a soft canopy that guides movement through the suite.
We chose the linen version of the fabric for its softer, more natural character, which sits comfortably alongside the warmth of the timber.
Throughout the suite, pale wallpapers, tiles and textiles were used to soften the surrounding panelling and furniture, allowing the materials to feel calm and balanced.
Texture often does as much work in a room as colour.
Panthera appears throughout the Manor House project — each space interpreting the pattern in its own way.

Panthera — Royal in the Manor House dining room.
Within this darker interior, the pattern introduces movement and warmth against the architectural backdrop.
The room explores mixed metal tones — brass alongside cooler silver finishes — creating layers of contrast and depth.
This dialogue between warm and cool materials is echoed within Panthera Royal itself, where saturated blues sit beside warmer ochres and soft neutrals.
The most comfortable interiors are usually built through layers rather than statements.
