We are excited to share with you our new collection of decorative vases. This range explores form and texture and of course, celebrates the natural beauty of timber. A collaboration between designer Will and our expert woodturner Marcus, each vase has been refined and developed to have its own unique character.

We have been working with L'Enclume, Simon Rogan’s farm-to-fork restaurant with three Michelin stars, for several years. Our latest brief was to create a beautiful trolley for serving the cheese course to L'Enclumes dinner guests. The design went through various iterations, starting with an in-depth discussion with the team at L'Enclume to understand the requirements and develop a specification. The cheese trolley was brought to life and crafted by hand at our workshop in the Lake District, and the end result is stunning.

New in, are these two beautiful watch boxes that have been crafted by hand from Flame Mahogany and Ripple Oak in our Lake District workshop. Each box has an internal storage compartment made out of ebony with space for three watches. The highest quality brass hinges have been used to ensure smooth and secure closure of the lid. Limited edition, only one of each available to buy online or from our Windermere store - £2,850.00 each

A bespoke commission, and our first installation of the new year. This beautiful cabinet features Arts and Crafts inspired marquetry but with a contemporary twist. Combining exquisite ripple sycamore and brightly-coloured veneer to create a unique piece with great sentimental value.

Inspired by the Arts & Crafts style, the panels of burr walnut veneer have a natural swirling pattern and are set within the curved oak frame. An exquisite piece for a grand sitting room. Ribbon Dining Table & Chairs in the making. All of our bespoke furniture is crafted by hand in our Lake District workshop. Peter Hall & Son's senior cabinet makers Jamie and Ben have spent the last few months bringing Will's designs to life. Years of training, experience, and dedication to their craft, enable pieces of furniture to be created to such a high standard.

Our latest commission ticks all the boxes for our bespoke design service. Taking almost a year from initial enquiry, through concept generation, prototyping, final design and production. Each stage in partnership with our wonderful clients.

Snow has fallen overnight here in the Lake District, just in time for the Windermere Christmas Market this weekend. Our Windermere Boutique is full of Christmas gifts for your friends and family and handmade decorations for your home. We have a limited number of Hand turned Luxury Christmas Tree sets available, this is our very last batch of the year. We are very proud of our partnership with the Westmorland Family a business which has values similar to our own and both having been in business for 50 years. We were approached earlier this year by the Westmorland team to design a new range of Christmas Decorations for their services. The brief was all things Fungi!

Our team experimented with different ways of making a mushroom on the lathe. It's rare to find two mushrooms that look identical, so we wanted to try and replicate this with our decorations. The mushrooms were turned out of wet silver birch, collected from the Westmorland Estate. Ordinarily, the wood we use to produce our products is dry, this ensures the wood is stable and won't distort over time. Turning wet wood enabled the mushrooms to warp as they dried out, each mushroom taking on its own unique shape and character.

We are excited to introduce the Pre-Loved Peter Hall & Son Collection, a select range of Peter Hall & Son original designs looking for a new home. One piece we currently have on offer is this Circular Oak Dining Table and four Dining Chairs. It is a design by Peter Hall himself, in the Arts & Crafts style. Made over two decades ago, the timber has been carefully restored and re-finished with linseed oil. The chairs have been re-upholstered and covered in a timeless and British-made woollen fabric in a herringbone style from Abraham Moon.
