Tiggy Lou Creations Professional furniture refinisher based in Wilmslow. Painted, decoupaged and wood finishes. Alternatively I can source a suitable piece of furniture for you.

I take old, dated furniture and give it a good dose of "TLC" by stripping old finishes, sanding, painting, refinishing wood, or adding some pattern with decoupage. I can take on commissions if you have some tired furniture just waiting to be given a face lift. I only use high quality water based paints including mineral paint, eggshell and on occasion chalk paint and add extra protection with varn

ish or wax. Natural wood finishes can be waxed or given a more durable polyurethane based finish. Wallpaper decoupaged pieces are finished with multiple layers of hard wearing satin varnish. I take time and care in every piece I work on to ensure I am completely happy with the final look. Please feel free to get in touch for a no obligation chat about your requirements. This silver beauty is being picked up tomorrow 🩶. It wasn’t an easy job, the drawers are very old and needed quite a few repairs. I had to stand on stepladders to paint the top 😆. Then there was the challenge of metallic paint - IYKYK 🤪. However I persevered and eventually it became the gleaming statement piece the customer wanted.

Doesn't this bedroom look great 😊. I love an in situ shot. Now you can see why this ochre yellow shade was the perfect choice for the room. There's a mirror to go over the dressing table and a stool to be painted to match. 💛💛

Bringing you some sunshine ☀️ whilst the skies are grey and the weather cold.

I delivered these beauties to their new home today. The customer was absolutely delighted with them. Tomorrow I will share with you photos of them in the room and you will see why this colour was the absolutely perfect shade 👌💛

Last job of 2025 was delivered on Monday and the customers were delighted 😊

This cabinet belonged to my customer's Grandma so had sentimental value. It had good bones but lots of veneer damage and didn't suit the decor in their beautiful Victorian home.

After lots (and lots 😂) of preparation and repairs it's been painted in a soft black eggshell paint by Fleur Paint UK supplied by Eliza Living4vintage Studio. The back has been papered in a modern, minimalist design adding just enough character whilst allowing the shape of the cabinet to take centre stage. Hope you like it.

The paint brushes have been put away now and operation Christmas is well underway 🎄🎄🎁🎁🎅🎅

This beauty will be heading to my customer this week. It's a recreation of a Stag Bureau I finished a few years back but this time we went with Fusion's Midnight Blue rather than Ash. Inside you will find a deep purple and colourful florals. Gold detailing complements the original brassware that has been scrubbed and polished. Stag Minstrel continues to be a popular classic design that just doesn't date.

One more project to complete before Xmas then I'm hanging up my brushes and getting ready for Christmas! 🎄🎅🎁 Are you ready?? 😃
