La Belle Rose was created from our love of shabby chic furniture and vintage style home decorations. We are passionate about upcycling furniture that would otherwise be unwanted, and end up in landfill. We believe that hand-painted furnishings have a unique touch of class that compliment almost any style. We use the finest materials, including the infamous Annie Sloan Chalk Paints and waxes. We ca

n use these paints, as well as other materials, to create the look that you desire, from the traditional shabby chic 'distressed' look to the more modern 'solid' look, and anything in between! Over the coming weeks we will be advertising our 'for sale' items on our page. Some of the things we have coming up include:

If you have furniture you would like painting before Christmas or a custom order please book it in now as the diary is getting very booked up between now and December... Last year there was a last minute panic on commissions just before Christmas and I'd hate to disappoint anyone!

A before and after picture of another lovely commission piece recently finished and delivered- this table had been very badly painted and no longer 'went' in its home- it was refreshed with layers of Grand Illusions 'Vanille' 'Calico' and 'Gulls Egg' to coordinate exactly with the newly upholstered furnishings in its home.

Another beautiful commission set finished and delivered to its happy owner! This set was painted in Grand Illusions 'Linen' and finished with protective layers of varnish and wax to enhance the natural farmhouse style.

The table top has been stripped and finished with beeswax. I absolutely loved painting this set!
