Burnt Basque cheesecake is from Spain, specifically originating in the city of San Sebastián in the autonomous community of the Basque Basque
The famous crustless dessert with its caramelized, blackened top was created in the late 1980s by chef Santiago Rivera at the bar La Viña located in San Sebastián's old quarter.

I’m not sure if I’ve already mentioned how much I love autumn 🍂 and Halloween 🦇 🤣 So to celebrate September (almost October) this weeks cake shed I’m most excited about sneaking in some autumn flavours bit by bit 😍😬🖤
