It’s good to be properly back after a lovely half term, although the summer holidays feel like they are already on the horizon!

I picked one of my current favourite colours for this piece. If you are short on space, then this is the tallboy for you as it is slightly more compact than a standard tallboy.

I’ve had two action packed days and another planned with my mum and my boys tomorrow m, so painting has taken a bit of a back seat this week.

I did manage to squeeze in a couple of hours this afternoon to get this solid oak nest of tables finished.

The temperature in my car hit 39 degrees today which is insane. 🤯

I’ve had to take a more leisurely approach today as otherwise my sweat would have watered down the paint.

Luckily, I only had to put the finishing touches to this beauty and make a start on a best of tables for later on this week.

How was everyone’s weekend?

Mine was lovely and chilled - just what the doctor ordered after a busy few weeks. I even woke up before my alarm this morning which very rarely happens!

I’ve got some lovely pieces coming up for you this week 😊 I’m also working on a commission piece which I originally painted many years ago but is now due for a change in colour.
