Last delivery of the year - a pair of curtains with vertical stripe and then the stripe is horizontal on the blinds. Curtains are tied up while they are “resting” to help them learn how to hang. The fabric is in gorgeous rich colours and so soft to the touch. They are blackout lined and interlined. Matching cushions and bed throw will be delivered next week.

A little catch on a December job. This fabulous custom made L shaped bench needed some box cushions. Lots of templates and angles measured to make sure it was a perfect fit. This gorgeous fabric from - Helston in Leaf colour way- certainly looks lovely in the wonderful barn conversion.

10 dining chair cushions with Velcro underneath so they don’t slip delivered in time for a big family Christmas in West Meon. Sadly forgot to take photos in place but the customer was delighted. 🎄🎅🎁

I have been so bad at posting so my end of year resolution is to get back to posting work more often. Sometimes photos just don’t get taken due to time, light conditions etc but I will try better next year. Here is a lovely little mid century German chair in gorgeous Linwood linen. One of the last jobs of this year.

I realised I haven’t posted anything for some time - don’t worry I am still here sewing away various projects. Some I didn’t get a chance to take photos sadly and others are long projects in various stages. I’ve also thrown in a holiday too. I’ll try harder to post things again.

Buttoning week!! A few of the 80 hand made buttons ready to go on a very old Chesterfield sofa. It’s therapeutic, time consuming, stressful and relaxing at the same time. There will be lots of tea needed, some muttering, probably a stabbing or two ( long needles…) but hopefully it will all be worth it.

I finished this gorgeous chair a few weeks ago and here it is in my customers gorgeous home. .takla is the queen of bespoke cushions and I quite often see a curtain or chair I’ve made for her being used as a prop for a photo of her fabulous cushions. This printed linen is bursting with rich colours. I love it.
