A couple of hardwood cutting boards. A side-grain board made from Sapele and Beech and an end-grain board made from Meranti. Both would be ideal boards to cut and slice food on.

I will me making some more from these and other hardwoods, and also some charcuterie boards made from Tulip wood, Cedar etc.

A large 8 seater farmhouse table custom made, with a tabletop stained to match the kitchen worktop, and leg/frame to match the kitchen cabinets. And two shaker style storage benches with hinged lids to match the shaker style kitchen.

Following delivery I received the below kind words from a very happy customer who asked me to share as they do not have Facebook:

Several more tables made for a pub/restaurant in Fernham, the latest being pedestal tables with flat and smooth tabletops. It was a mix of rectangular pedestal tables with two legs, and a small square table with a single leg.

These accompany the previous X leg tables I’ve made for them with grooved tabletops.

Its nearly that time of year again! Thinking of niceties that are very fitting for Christmas, either as table decorations that can be used year after year, as gifts, or even everyday use - we use our tealight holders all year round and are great for scented tealights.

These are just a few I made up but can be longer, wider, shaped, pyrographed etc.

Here are an few pictures shared by a client of an X leg desk I made recently accompanied by a few shelves and brackets. The desktop is made from 25mm hardwood faced plywood with a chamfered edge to give a modern engineered aesthetic, stained in dark Oak.

The desk has a subframe which enables the legs to go without the beam between them and still provide the stabilty needed.

Sometimes what you don’t see is as nice as what you do see.

Castle joints are not the easiest joint to make but they are a really strong joint due to the intersection of 3 pieces of wood that all work together to add strength.

A corner shelf unit with 5 reducing quadrant cedar shelves that have been treated with Danish Oil and a black ebony stained frame.

This was for a customer that also purchased some live edge cedar shelves and an outdoor table with two benches in Driftwood grey stain.
