We want to thank all our customers over the years for the fun, inspiration, and help with the determination to carry on!
You have paid for 35 employees .....
Four dogs... Shadow, Mica, Kizzy and now, Sticker
You have frequented 4 shops... ArtyFacts, on the Platt; ArtyCrafts; ArtyFacts, Padstow and finally ArtyFacts...interiors
You have helped us recover from a devastating fire.
You have given us the affirmation that you understand the eclectic and appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into individual pieces.
We hope that we brought colour and style into your homes and perhaps a bit of humour!
So, YES,
We are closing... these ArtyFarts are going to discover retirement.
The shop premise is leased to a new local business and hopefully you will give them a chance as you had given us all those years ago.
and NO;
We are not going anywhere..... Wadebridge is our home.
We do not know what’s next! If anyone has any ideas, tell us!
In this difficult retail environment, we hope that you remember that charity begins at ‘home’. Use your independent shops in town. This gives local people a job with an income, a town with the money from the business rates to improve and maintain the standard you wish to live in. If the businesses are successful, they will be paying VAT which helps the country finance its infrastructure. Independent shops will listen, help, and advise. They are there with a vision to make your lives more complete. Please remember, you are all responsible for keeping a community together.
